Field Trips

School Tour Times: 9 am - 1 pm

Times Available After School and Weekends for birthday parties, children church parties, Brownies and Girl Scouts, Cub and Boy Scouts, and groups of teenagers or adults to learn how to paint pumpkins for decorations.

 

Activities Included:

Learn How A Pumpkin Grows-Children receive approximately 20 to 30 minutes of instruction on how pumpkins are grown

 

 Pick Your Own Unique Pumpkin From the Pumpkin Patch - Children actually walk through the Pumpkin Patch to take home with them.

 

 Learn How a Pumpkin Is Carved - Children see a hands on demonstration on Pumpkin Carving and instructions on how to safely carve their pumpkins when they get home.

 

 Face and Hand Painting

 

Picnic Area

 

 Teaching Area - Teachers can integrate a math lesson into the Pumpkin Experience by weighing and measuring each child's pumpkin (scale and tape measure available).
